The feeling of emptiness is uncomfortable, but very common. In fact, most are expected to go through this experience at least once. It usually appears during some period of change in people's lives, when they need to adapt to a new routine. In times of transition or change, people feel lost in the world of possibilities open to them. The goals change with the new reality, and it may take time for them to find them again. Consequently, self-abandonment takes place. The overload of feelings gives way to an unpleasant anesthetic feeling of stress. Life goals, set long ago, no longer make sense or have any meaning. It is a feeling that shakes the person's entire routine, because they feel lost, afraid and completely blocked by their own emotions, affecting their behaviors, their choices and, above all, their personal relationship with themselves, after all they disconnect from everything and anything more internal. Symptoms The void echoes from the inside out, shaking all areas of the individual's life, such as: · Withdrawal from family and social life, for various reasons; · Negative thoughts about yourself; · Unwillingness to do small routine things; · Constant questions about oneself, choices and the path of one's life; · Anxiety; · Mental exhaustion; · Sleep disorders; · Eating disorders; · Lack of energy; · Low self-esteem; · Constant feeling of loneliness and dissatisfaction; · Dependence on addictions; · Fears and insecurities. The list of symptoms is immense, which harms her even more in everyday life. Causes of the feeling of emptiness The feeling of emptiness is described by experts as a consequence of the lack of contact with sources of pleasure. It can originate when you lead an unwanted life, such as a job that doesn't suit you or an unstable relationship in love or family. The feeling of emptiness is actually a warning. It means you are not well and need to reevaluate your life. As discouraged as she may seem, there is always a solution to problems. Human existence is made up of ups and downs, so we need to develop our self-knowledge and our emotional skills to overcome the bad times. We all have dreams and goals. Some feel they are not privileged, others disbelieve that they have the support of the universe to follow them. When the feeling of emptiness dominates us, it is not easy to find the way out of it.
