Don't waste your time with guilt or shame!


These emotions harm your physical, emotional and mental health. In addition to causing physical problems, such as problems with the prostate or ovaries, liver, kidneys, gallbladder, appendix, bladder, sinuses and even heart and lungs, they will most likely cause emotional damage in your life, increase the level of anxiety, frustration, anger, fear and even depression. What good can it do you?


Guilt and shame come from things that happened in the past that you regret, or current situations that start with the words “I should” and the choices you are making based on past problems or beliefs.


It may seem a daunting task, but if you take the time and work on it, you can release and eliminate the guilt or shame you've carried with you up until now.


For example – if you were sexually abused as a child (which can cause deep embarrassment), perhaps this made you a strong, independent, empathetic and compassionate human being. Maybe you're a better mother for it, or maybe it led you in the direction of your career or life purpose.


Or maybe you feel guilty about making mistakes in the past. But what can this help you with? Guilt is healthy, momentarily, in the sense of regret and correction of errors


Holding guilt and/or shame can cause you to be reserved and unable to be completely open and enjoy life to the fullest.


So what else can you do to eradicate guilt and shame from your energy system?


1) If you are embarrassed by something someone has done to you – FORGIVE! It just means letting go of your energy system and moving on so you can be happy and healthy.


2) If you are feeling guilty about something you did to someone else – FORGIVE YOURSELF! Sincerely apologize to them if you can and/or want to or just let it go and know that maybe you helped them on their life journey for what you did.


Forgiveness can be very difficult at times. But ask yourself, “Is my health worth forgiving?” "If God Forgives Us All, Why Not You?


Today is a new day. Live it as such. Free yourself from the past, so as not to occupy space and energy in your present and promising future.

Relax

Learn assertive communication

Calm down before acting

Approach others and yourself with compassion

Be patient

If necessary, seek professional help from competent therapists
